Workday Configurable Service Date Defaulting

New, old Workday feature of the day: Configurable Service Date Defaulting

Configuration:

• Maintain configuration with the task Maintain Staffing Field Defaults
• Select a Report Field to use as the default in a given service date field. i.e. "Hire Date" or "Effective Date"
• Select an optional Condition Rule to configure when the service date is filled in. i.e. "Current Service Date is Blank" or "Country is Australia".

Good to Know:

• Only works as a subprocess of a staffing BP like Hire or Change Job.
• Calculated fields should use the 'Worker Business Process' business object
