🔒 Give access to a single integration in Workday

Ever need to give someone access to a single integration, but not all the integrations? This post walks through setting that up for an integrations system.

Security segment

Create an Integration Security System Segment in the tenant. Select the specific integration system(s) or templates that you'd like to give specific access to.

Segment-based security group

Create a Segment-based security group with the task Create Security Group. A segment-based security group gives an existing group additional permissions in the context of a specific security segment.

Domain security policies

Edit the domain security policies to give View/Get/Edit/Modify access to the segment-based security group.

• View access to the Integration Event domain is required to view or download the result files from an integration event.
• Modify access to the Integration Event domain is required to launch/schedule an integration.
• You may consider giving the segment-based group some additional administrative privileges if they are relevant to the integration.
